Resignation

Whatever will be will be,
No forcing the issue now,
North south east west,
Whatever’s best
Will surface with the turning tide
And on it , hope will ride truth in
and a sense of what’s been a fatal flaw of this plan,
Will lay bare on sand
And
As the water retreats,
Purpose outwits pursuit.
